About Kamran Shah

Board-certified, CAQ-certified Neuroradiologist and leader since 2012 with experience in both academic and private practice settings. After completing my residency at the University of Maryland and a neuroradiology fellowship at Northwestern University, I began my career at the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University, where I advanced to Program Director and Chairman. While there, I honed my leadership, mentorship, and academic skills, to become an award-winning educator and speaker. Since June 2020, I have been a full-time, 100% subspecialized neuroradiologist with Huron Valley Radiology. In my private practice, I have continued my personal and career growth, combining my strong communication, informatics and interpretive skills to deliver high quality patient care efficiently, and I have consistently generated wRVUs annually since 2020. With a background in IT, business development and management prior to medical school, I offer a unique blend of experience, subject matter expertise, and leadership combined with a midwestern work ethic and engaging personality.
