Started my career in Government in 1962. Worked as accountant till 1971.Specialised in govt purchases like acceptance of tenders, rate contracts etc. besides usual duties of accountant • Joined Food corporation of India in 1971 as finance head of a unit responsible for administration, preparation of balance sheet of the region, appointment of handling and transport contractors and supervising of internal audit of regional finances • Joined PMPL as Financial Controller and Company Secretary. Project Financing, Documentation with financial institutions and overall in charge of finance and Secretarial functions • Joined Cement Corporation of India as head of a unit overall in charge of unit for preparing independent balance sheet cost control and other functions. • Joined Hindustan Insecticides Ltd. As Director Finance at board level overall in charge of finance, strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding • Worked as finance head and company secretary of 2 companies and got them listed on BSE and regional stock exchange starting from appointment of lead manager, transfer and share agents, drafting and approval of prospectus, getting it listed on stock exchange and getting approval from RBI for foreign investors portion. • Besides I have exposure to capital market of my own and still have a personal terminal from a broker and have been in practice as Company secretary. Have experience of working as resolution profesional of 3 companies and liquidator of 1 appointed by nclt
