About Kapilanjan Em

Currently I'm building dossier.nexus. An ecosystem of AI agents and tools that help organisations automate and accelerate work, learning, research, and events. Currently we partner with ministries, public institutions, and universities to bring Agentic AI to students, educators, researchers, nonprofits, and civil servants. Our ecosystem of products: ai.dna: Our AI engine that powers everything dossier.events: Run professional events end-to-end dossier.academia: Manage learning, courses and programs dossier.flow: Automate organisational workflows dossier.grow: Growth tools for academies and growing institutions dossier.labs: Applied AI research and partnerships Some of our recent work- Accelerated training and course creation for large universities and government bodies - Reduced event planning and training time to just 2 days for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Enabling scalable learning, knowledge management, and collaboration across distributed, multi-location organisations As a founder, I lead product strategy and institutional partnerships, working closely with stakeholders in education, policy, and enterprise to deliver systems that are not just intelligent, but inclusive and impactful- But this journey started long before dossier.nexus. I won the India's Best Project Award in Robotics in 8th grade. That early spark pushed me toward engineering not just as a profession, but as a way to solve real problems that matter. While studying Mechatronics at the University of Southampton (BEng + MSc), I had the chance to work on high-impact projects, from converting a Continental GT into an EV, to developing lab-on-a-chip diagnostics for early detection of diabetic foot ulcers, to designing sensors for agriculture and railway safety. These projects weren’t just about pushing tech boundaries, they deepened my belief that good engineering can create meaningful social change. I’m also aware of the privilege that enabled this journey. Supportive parents, a guiding environment, and access to world class education. I returned to India driven by a mission: to help bridge that gap for millions of students and innovators, to build technology that expands access and drives social change. That mission continues to shape everything we do at dossier.nexus. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me on a basketball court, a hiking trail, or a road trip- I’m always open to collaborating with leaders driving innovation in education, public systems, and AI for real-world outcomes.
