About Kappa Grealy

Motivated to create positive and tangible change in the world of international development and social intervention. Multilingual ( English, Spanish, French) graduate in Social Psychology and European Studies with a background in social intervention and research, migration, international education and student support. I have a Master's in Psychosocial and Community Intervention from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and an undergraduate Degree in European Studies (Spanish and French) from Trinity College. I'm looking for opportunities in social impact and the NGO sector. I am particularly interested in immigration, youth and working in a multilingual and multicultural environment. In the social research and intervention space, I am a member of SURE (Strengthening Social Supports for Immigrant Adolescents). A project financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and led by researchers in the Autonomous University of Madrid. Examining the well-being of migrant and refugee adolescents in the Community of Madrid. I have worked as a health care assistant working with adults with intellectual disabilities in Ireland and in social community organisations in Madrid directed towards migrants and vulnerable populations. I have worked in the international education sphere for over five years. As a Language and Cultural Ambassador with the Spanish Ministry of Education, as an Academic Program Assistant with CIEE, Tour Manager and Student Advisor with the American Institute for Foreign Studies and Student Coordinator for Northeastern University in Madrid Creative, Compassionate, Open-Minded and a Lifelong Learner.
