About Kaptan Singh

Driven by the motto:"Efforts, not Excuses", I am always up for new challenges and opportunities to stretch my comfort zone. I'm mainly focussed on deriving results ethically and like to appreciate people for their efforts. I am currently associated with Deutsche Bank in Performance & Rewards space. Prior to this, I was leading Talent Management and Special Projects at Adani Wilmar Ltd.(one of the biggest Foods & FMCG Companies of India). I had joined Asani Wilmar as a Management Trainee under the Abhyudaya (Young Leaders Acceleration) Program. In April 2020, I had interned at AON HR Consulting working on an exploratory project in the space of "Talent Transformation". I am passionate about Rewards, Talent, Strategy, Leadership, Novelty, Continuous Improvement, Data and Empathy. I had completed my MBA in Human Resources from SCMHRD, Pune and like to keep the "Human" part of Human Resources at its centre. During MBA, I had represented my institute in various national level competitions at organisations like EY and Flipkart and secured podium positions. I was also an active member of the Sports Committee. Before taking up MBA, I had spent over 2 years at India's Cradle of Military Leadership - National Defence Academy, undergoing training as an officer cadet and engaging in various military and academic activities. In my free time, I channel my enthusiasm into reading or engage in different sports. I've maintained a good balance of academics and extra-curricular so far, and would like to keep doing so.
