About Kara Baruzzini

I am the founder of School of Intuitive Yoga, an online platform for yoga and teacher trainings and the creator of Papaya Love Group, focusing on the empowerment of women. I am a full time somatic trauma therapist, living to support others in thriving. My professional experience has been one of entrepreneurship and innovation in the world of mental health and alternative healing methodologies. I have worked as a trauma specialist with clients that have a wide range of goals from transitioning into motherhood to healing emotionally after big life events like breakups or losing a loved one. I pull my inspiration from 11 years and over hours of experience learning, teaching, training and observing yoga, meditation and somatic based healing techniques. My focal point of studies has been in coaching methodologies that combine the deep wisdom of the Eastern philosophy and scientifically validated methods of transformation. Additionally, I have experience in planning, leading and facilitating retreats, trainings and events across the world from Germany to Mexico to Costa Rica and beyond. I spend years leading alternative spring break trips for college students of the University of Michigan that involved teaching students mindfulness techniques and promoting wellness, I lead 17+ Yoga Teacher Trainings for students beginning their yoga careers and, most recently, have transitioned to Leadership Trainings for the empowered professional, teaching EQ, public speaking techniques, storytelling techniques and much more.
