About Kara Erwin

A former educator (I taught Latin!) and Classist, I decided to leave the world of the ancients and enter the present day by supporting today’s technology brands through integrated PR. I have touched many industries - in both B2B and B2C - everything from marketing & sales technology, cybersecurity, and generative AI to manufacturing & commercial and edtech. I deeply value opportunities to learn and become an expert in different areas and view both education and PR as a journey. I have applied the skills I developed and fine tuned during my years teaching and doing graduate research to learning about new tech and pride myself on my ability to deep dive into difficult or complicated concepts and distill the information in a digestible way. On top of my love for creating unique stories for brands, I am passionate about building relationships with clients and account teams. A Texas native, I love to travel and even spent some time living in Rome, Italy. I hold a BA from The University of Texas (Hook ‘em Horns) and a Master’s from The University of Edinburgh.
