After 8 years creating and gathering data as a laboratory professional, I am passionate about detangling information and working towards solutions. Making lists is my jam, and nothing satisfies me more than organizing data/paperwork/laundry into defined categories. I am: A CURIOUS PROBLEM-SOLVER I have used a variety of information management systems (DMS, LIMS, QMS, EHR) and am quick to learn how they fulfill operational needs. The best way to become familiar with any new technology is to take interest in its capabilities and “play around” with it. I look for patterns and relationships in the system’s structure to easily navigate to the resources I need. A TEAM PLAYER My laboratory work was often fast-paced, and I had to learn to effectively communicate with my team members to accomplish our goals. I seek to learn from my team by observing how they approach their work and understanding their viewpoints. Everyone approaches their work differently, so I encourage new team members to adapt strategies that align with their learning style. A DILIGENT WORKER My superpower is my hyperfocus. I can dig into my work for extended periods of time. My experience writing investigative reports has trained me to leave no stone unturned and tell an objective story that can be easily understood by stakeholders and auditors. A MUSIC LOVER & TRIP PLANNER Outside of work and LinkedIn, you can find me crafting Spotify playlists for EVERY occasion and making trip itineraries (I said I love lists!). Digging into the details is important to me because I don't want to waste a moment of my precious vacation time looking for the hotel or deciding which song to play. This is true in my work. Before I set out to accomplish a difficult task, I identify the information I need, where that information is located, and keep track of my progress along the way.
