About Kara Roberts

With 20 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, Kara is a dynamic and engaging individual who prides herself on her ability to engage others and successfully build relationships that support a foundation for positive change. As a Registered Dietitian, Kara began her career working as a front line clinical dietitian. She completed a Masters of Medicine (Applied Health Services Research) which broadened her interests in health care quality improvement and leadership. She then furthered her leadership journey in roles that include Strategist, Analyst, Manager, Consultant and Director. These roles demonstrate Kara’s ability to apply her knowledge, skills and leadership to advance positive change in her work environment. Having worked in large public sector organizations, Kara has experience engaging and leading people while successfully managing projects, fiscal resources and operational accountabilities and developing, implementing and evaluating organization wide strategies, policies and programs. What she enjoys most about her work? The People! and helping them achieve their own sense of leadership and pride in the work they do.
