Thirteen years’ experience at federal agencies administering the federal contracting process in a high quality manner as a contracting specialist and officer. Contracting Officer certified at FAC-C/ DAWIA Level with an undergraduate degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and a master’s degree in business administration. Graduate of a Government-wide Acquisition Internship Program gaining contract and procurement work experience at four agencies - Department of the Interior, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Defense, and Department of Health and Human Services. Key attributes include strong and important skills: Evaluating and analyzing cost and pricing data, and prospective contractor’s financials to assess capability to award a wide variety of contracts and grants and assure contractors perform work efficiently, effectively, economically and in the best interest of the government. Delivering customer service, contract management, and project management; and exhibiting leadership and creativity enabling high quality and value added service to customers. Leading teams - more than five occasions - assigning and reviewing team members’ work and participating in senior management meetings to plan and report the status of team workloads and the acquisition process. Communicating orally and in writing across the organization to peers, customers and stakeholders up and down the organization to superiors and team members respectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Sharepoint, PRISM and Google Apps/Docs software - having used these applications often to prepare clear, concise, and persuasive presentations to customers.
