I am a Trainee Accountant, fulfilling my CA articles at MTN Group Ltd, having recently completed the Bachelor of Accounting Honours degree at the University of the Free State with aspirations of becoming a Chartered Accountant. I have worked as a part time Accounting tutor for over two years. Throughout my university years, I was involved in residence life and eventually served as a residence committee member. As a student I have had various honours and awards varying from best performance Financial Accounting to being a Golden Key member. From an early age, I have loved accounting, working with numbers and problem-solving, and upon further exploring in this industry, I particularly like it’s balance of career flexibility while providing stability. I am an independent and achievement driven individual, with a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to grow and learn. I am passionate about my academics and I aim to be a lifelong learner and to grow my expertise in this field as I prepare for the corporate world. I am someone that puts a lot of effort into whatever I do and is dedicated to helping others. I also have a strong sense of responsibility for every assignment I take on or circumstance I find myself in. Let’s connect
