About Karan Chopra

Hi, I’m Karan Chopra, an Associate Software Engineer at VAST, currently focusing on Generative AI and its applications in building intelligent, user-centric solutions. I hold a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC), Mumbai, where I graduated with a CGPA of 9.64/10. My journey in tech started with a curiosity for problem-solving and creating meaningful software. At TSEC, I led the Technical Team for Codestorm, organizing hackathons and technical events—an experience that sharpened my leadership skills and deepened my passion for collaborative growth. I’ve been actively exploring and working with RAG pipelines, LangChain, Model Context Protocol (MCP), vector databases (Pinecone, MongoDB), computer vision (OpenCV, YOLO), and multimodal AI systems. My projects span from AI-powered hiring platforms with personalized recommendations and automation to mobile applications enhanced with generative intelligence, combining Flutter, Node.js, and FastAPI with advanced AI workflows. In addition, I’ve published research papers in Springer and Xplore, with contributions in quantum computing, machine learning, and AI-driven image synthesis—each project strengthening my foundation in applied AI research and development. Beyond work, I’m passionate about continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and using Generative AI to create technology that drives positive impact. I enjoy collaborating with innovators and builders—so feel free to connect if you’d like to exchange ideas or explore opportunities together.
