About Karan Jayachandra

Hi! I'm Karan and I am an engineer that helps build systems that make sense of machine readable and human readable data. Please reach out if you want to build systems that make the best possible decisions with the available information. My main interests are signal processing with the aim to augment that with more data driven methods such as machine learning. I enjoy working in fast paced environments that require thinking outside the box for engineering solutions that fuse information from different fields to find a solution that can solve a given problem. I am currently working as a Radar Signal Processing Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, The Netherlands. My current work is in new production innovation where I mostly work on Radar Systems for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. I am building the next generation of Corner Radar sensors and also developing algorithms that can help make sense of the data generated by such devices. I recently graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from TU Delft. During this time I majored in Signals and Systems and my master's thesis was about the use of Radar Systems for both communication and sensing to reduce overall uncertainty for all entities in any scenarios.
