About Karan Lall

I am currently an Associate in the Capital Markets & Securities Group at McMillan LLP. I graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with a JD and also completed an MBA degree with a specialization in finance from Schulich School of Business. At both schools, I held positions in a variety of groups and initiatives including 1L Rep for the South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA), Osgoode Ambassador, Director of Internal Affairs for the Osgoode Privacy Law Society, Conference Co-Chair of the JDMBA Student Association (JMSA) and Co-VP of Professional Development of the JMSA. During law school, I also worked part-time at a Cryptocurrency start-up as a Business Intern. Prior to law school, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University with a degree in Criminology. During my time at law school and as a summer student and articling student at McMillan, I developed an interest in Capital Markets and Securities law. In my personal life, I am an occasional chess player, a novice painter and gelato enthusiast. In Toronto, I would recommend visiting Mizzica Gelateria & Cafe and Hollywood Gelato.
