Choosing Social Media Marketing as a career was the best decision I've ever made because now I'm building my life around what I love: connecting with others! Who could ever ask for more, really? Social Media really has always been my passion though, and I'm so blessed that it has stayed my passion in the last year as I've worked toward my Social Media Marketing Degree. I'm currently interning in the marketing department of the Temple Square Hospitality Corporation and I absolutely love it! I handle the Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest pages as well as writing weekly blogs for Templesquare.com and handling some of the design projects for our outgoing products. Before this, I was managing the Garden Restaurant on Temple Square as well as interning for LDS S.M.I.L.E. handling their Facebook pages and writing blog posts. Since I've been writing articles for both of these companies, I've had them shared by LDS Daily, Mormon Memes, and LDS Living.com. In my free time, even though all marketing majors know there never really is free time, I love to volunteer and meet new people. I currently am a part of the activities committee at LDS Business College where I help plan events for the students, and I've loved meeting so many new people over the last year. I am an avid lover of reading, writing, photoshop, typography, and movies from the 80's. I'm excited to keep learning more about Social Media and work toward earning my MBA in the next five years and I would love to start my own marketing agency. Thanks for reading, let's connect!
