About Kareem Sattaur

Motivated and eager to learn graduate student of Humber College's Electromechanical Engineering Technology program focusing on automation and robotics. I always loved to work with my hands and mind to create innovative projects or to simply enhance my knowledge. I am very passionate in performing electrical work and robotic programming. I have gained and enhanced many skills throughout my studies at Humber and with work experience in the industrial world. Some of those skills include- Low voltage control circuit and high power panel wiring - Strong knowledge combined with Robotic Programming experience with industrial robots (KUKA, FANUC, MOTOMAN, PANASONIC, WITTMANN, DENSO)- HMI programming (Allen-Bradley)- PLC programming (Allen-Bradley)- Use of a variety of mechanic tools and machine - Troubleshooting experience - Exposure to AutoCAD software Experience: My duties as a Escalator Mechanic Helper at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) included the following: • Assist with the maintenance and repair of escalators as well as with minor inspections, replacements and mechanical repairs • Supply the Mechanics or other staff with tools, removed machinery and related equipment Humber Third Year Project • Device data collection and electrical installation • Collaborated with team members for mechanical cell adjustments and build A part from sports and reading in the summer, I enjoy disassembling mechanical and electrical systems for scrap metal items such as motors, fridges and A/C units, and then sorting them according to metallic content. I have been described as a hardworking, reliable individual. I believe in giving one hundred and ten percent every day. I am always willing to learn new things and take on new challenges.
