About Karen Eeles

I am now in my 22nd year as Holophanes Laboratory Quality and Test Manager. I offer an extensive and diverse mix of interpersonal, Technical Management and Quality skills combined with dedication, enthusiasm and integrity. I have drive and determination and my attention to detail is evident. I continue to educate myself both in the workplace and in my personnel life. I enjoy a challenge and anything new. I have great communication and investigative skills. I am also highly motivated and passionate to learn and perform. I have worked within the Lighting and Fibre Optics industry for over 35 years. I continue to strengthen and educate others within lighting and continually improve Holophanes system. I have a vast knowledge and understanding of Directives, standards and regulations for UK, Europe and other parts of the world. A large percentage of my time is working on CB and ENEC for my products. I have also dealt with Military and FIA regulations and documentation in the past. I am familiar with luminaire Rail Safety and EMC for London Underground and the various requirements for Luminaires and Fire regulations linked to RRO. Liaise with subcontracted laboratories such as LIA, BSI, Eurofins and overseas Labs. Horticultural Diploma-2021 Qualified Internal Auditor- ISO9001 Attended Institute of Quality Assurance Integrated Management Systems training I enjoy studying Military Aircrafts, studying Egyptology and I am currently learning three languages- Japanese, German and Swedish. I am studying more for my horticultural education regarding lighting along with Solar lighting. I occasionally attend Goodwood and follow F1 racing and BTCC. End
