Through my administrative role, I lead a strong team of educational assistants using a strengths-based distributive leadership style to ensure my team feels supported and has the tools to best support the intricate needs of all our students. The bedrock of my approach lies in designing intervention strategies and restorative practices tailored to high-risk students. This dedication has translated into crafting enriching learning experiences that resonate with diverse student groups, including those facing mental and developmental challenges. My mission extends beyond the classroom, engaging parents and leveraging educational research to inform best practices and drive transformative student outcomes. I am dedicated to seeking out parent relationships, which can be hindered by previous trauma, to best support student learning.
