I am passionate about possibility. As a visionary and collaborative leader, I synthesize information in a way that inspires and motivates, leading to a solid path that drives forward momentum. From there, shaping the "how we get there" is a daily discipline, and my methods encompass digital and traditional techniques that attract audiences and transform them into loyal clients. I’m intrigued by the blend of creativity and data, from the fresh bloom of a compelling campaign to refining the process with insight from real-life responses. My career has covered ground in healthcare, technology, and community-building nonprofits. It all comes together under the headline of meaningful work. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” She lived her mission, culminating in leading the creation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.(If you haven't read it, take a minute and check it out.) Like Eleanor, I thrive on bringing people together under the flag of an audacious, creative vision. She got things done, often with opposition, and her faith in the importance of her work served as the engine for many incredible outcomes. My experiences in organizations large and small, local and global, reflect the value I place on ensuring all voices are heard, and all contributions accounted for. Asking questions, and understanding “here” so we can get to “there” are the building blocks for crafting communications that integrate with strategies at every level of the organization. I also enjoy investing sweat equity in my house, adding a new power tool to my workshop, or figuring out what in the world is trying to out-grow my carefully fertilized garden. In less sweat-breaking endeavors, I love words and stories, from biography to fiction to discovering a great joke on a favorite blog.
