About Karen Mortimer

Providing total wealth-care for you is my goal; whether it be finding the right lending solution or wealth planning strategy for you or your business. I focus on the development of wealth management plans including credit and lending services through Bank of America, NA, retirement, estate, insurance and business succession strategies. I help you, my client, to focus on potential issues and also work with your other trusted advisors in developing overall estate planning strategies. I began in the financial services industry in 1986. My experience includes commercial banking, banking branch manager, brokerage branch administration and Financial Advisor. I graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. After being in the professional workforce for several years, I took a brief hiatus from financial services to raise my two children and also obtained a California Teaching Credential. I taught middle school, which I loved, for three years before returning to the financial services industry. My husband Bill and I have been married since 1982 and we have two children. Our son serves with the U.S. Army and our daughter is a high school English teacher. I am a proud member and past president of the Rancho Bernardo Sunrise Rotary and I enjoy travelling; Sci-Fi and action movies; reading mystery novels and participate in a number of volunteer projects with my family.
