About Karen Tobin
I am a lucky chemist who gets to share my passion with students. I am a Sr. Lecturer in an associates program (Laboratory Science and Technology) at NTID/RIT where I teach lab skills and Tutor chemistry. I share my work knowledge and my love of science with wonderful students. I learn something new everyday from my students and about myself. The challenges of teaching keep my mind sharp and my spirit light. Previously I worked as an Analytical Chemist accumulating over 10 years of experience in the quantitative and qualitative testing of tablets, inhalers, nasal sprays, solutions and suspensions in a high output Quality Control laboratory with short deadlines. I am a fast learner who loves new challenges and faces them with an upbeat smile.
