About Kari Koho

With over 25 years of specialized experience in material technology, including steels, castings, mechanical equipment, components, and quality assurance, I am currently serving as a Quality Manager at Helen. Additionally, I am an International Welding Engineer. In my current position, I am a member of the EHSQ team, where I focus mostly on quality assurance and control for green transition investment projects. My responsibilities also encompass the development of quality management systems and processes for the company, as well as overseeing material selections, conducting corrosion investigations, and addressing other material-related topics. Throughout my career, I have cultivated a broad skill set and extensive knowledge across various domains, such as material technology, foundries, castings, machine shops, welding, sourcing, quality, and supplier development. My managerial and team leadership experience spans over a decade, during which I have consistently received positive feedback from team members and supervisors. I am passionate about engaging in tasks that leverage my expertise while challenging me to grow and acquire new skills. I thrive in diverse and collaborative environments where I can contribute to the success and sustainability of both the organization and the industry. Supporting colleagues in achieving their best work brings me great feeling.
