About Kari Lopez

Going into business felt natural,” says Dr. Kari López, perched comfortably on a custom-made ottoman, expertly upholstered in a black suede and topped with a hand woven, wool kilim rug. “I believe in a spiritual outlook, and with integrity, perseverance and tenacity, we can overcome any obstacle put in our way.” From handcrafted moccasins to breathing new life by reupholstering Grandma’s favorite antique armchair, our talented staff at LOREC Ranch Home Furnishings does it all. Regardless of your style, you’re sure to fall in love with this gem.” López, however, is more than just a glamorous girl next door in platform stilettos-she founded her company LOREC Ranch Home Furnishings, in 1993. Walk into any of the three showrooms: Amarillo, Pawhuska or Oklahoma City, and you’ll be greeted immediately by the aroma of wood and leather- a tell-tale sign of what is behind the turquoise walls of Oklahoma City’s showroom and manufacturing facility. Selling comes naturally to López’s sister and Vice President of LOREC ranch, Mary Wick, who brings clients on warehouse tours and sends photos of the step-by-step manufacturing, finish and upholstery progress, allowing them to experience the process via Facetime and text message.
