About Kari Mander

My career in sales/finance started with a pager, a quarter and the white pages lol. I have been a Realtor, Mortgage Broker, Bank Manager and Sales Manager for a retirement residence. I understand the financial and emotional issues being faced by older Canadians, as I am a caregiver for my live in mom and an advocate for my dad, who has dementia. I so wish I would have known more about reverse mortgages years ago when life started to change for my family. I am so grateful to be able to fulfil my own retirement path as a Business Development Associate with HomeEquity Bank and as a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging. It is the best of both worlds for me. Being able to provide financial solutions for older adults, enabling them to keep their independence and autonomy by staying in their own homes within their own communities or wherever they want to be. At HomeEquity Bank we are so thankful to the mass amounts of curious brokers we are helping to provide their older Canadian clients that are homeowners with one of the fastest growing mortgage products around.
