About Kari Marken
I aim to design better systems and build better structures for enacting creative and collaborative learning experiences in workplaces and educational institutions. My career spans 20+ years as a University Researcher & Lecturer, Learning & Development Specialist, Certified Design Professional (in Educational Systems Design), Consultant, and K-12 Teacher. In 2023, I added a Prompt Engineering Certificate to the list in an effort to ground my work in the current ( & future) state of teaching & learning. Currently, I’m a Lecturer and Team Lead at the Sauder School of Business where I teach courses and steward programs that foster Communication, Creativity & Innovation and Communication for undergraduate students (B.Comm) & graduate students (MBA & Masters of Mgmt.) and professional leaders (Executive Education).
