About Kari Thompson

I just recently earned my RN license- January 2024 and am moving into an RN role in acute inpatient psychiatry. Earned my BSN in October 2024. I have been working in acute inpatient psychiatry since 2020. I earned my LPN License in January 2019. Since receiving my practical nursing license, I have been using all my previous work experience of over 10 years in customer service and my new my nursing skills to further upgrade myself as a nurse. With my quick learning skills and willingness to be flexible, I am a great asset to any team and look forward to any experience that will help me expand to be able to help many people. I really enjoyed working in a fast paced hospital and clinic setting and was able to use my great multi-tasking skills to be able to step in and help out wherever it was needed. I am looking to be able to use my nursing skills to their full advantage. I have experience working in long term care- assisted and skilled. I also have experience working in a family/internal medicine clinic as well as working in a hospital on a post-surgical/medical floor.
