Integration & Separation specialist and sparring partner to the C-suite with a strong combination of strategic, technical and leadership skills and a proven record of sucessfully supporting transactions and delivering major separation and integration programmes. Karin’s proven commercial acumen has helped her in her past leadership role as a CFO leading a mid-sized enterprise in a PE environment through numerous refinancing and transformation initiatives. Responsibilities included retooling and restructuring financial processes, systems and organisations as well as planning and controlling growth. Additionally, she focussed on efficiency enhancement and business transformation to deliver maximum shareholder value covering the whole range of the finance spectrum from finance operations, accounting, reporting, tax, financing and cash management, as well as commercial finance. Based on her experience from this executive role, various non-executive roles, the learnings from her private investment focus and the experience in the consulting business, Karin together with her team delivers value to her national and international clients across various industries in Deal Advisory within KPMG. Projects range from valuation and transaction services engagements to integration and separation (carve-out) projects and Karin so combines her in depth finance knowledge with outstanding leadership and change management skills.
