31 years in Supply Management experience. Interested in data migration from antiquated legacy systems to Business Objects/Business Intelligence/SAP Programs. I am creating new reports using tables in design, and adding necessary variables. Currently working in 3 different applications of SAP Business Objects in both Production and Development using Business Intelligence (BI). The most recent is Navy Data Platform (NDP BOBJ), utilizing Navy ERP Supply Metrics Reports that were converted from Navy Inform21. I have converted 30 reports from Oracle Discoverer to Business Objects for DLA Maritime at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS & IMF) and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (Bremerton site). Navy Material Application Technology (MAT) is the program where the data elements exist. Also tested in Production to ensure that various tables from Legacy (Discoverer) were converted and data reported was accurate. The conversion started March 2020 and ended in September 2021. The Oracle based program was disconnected on October 31, 2020, and access to the SQL data was no longer available due to expired licensing. Continuing to build new reports as required by management, and the site is in full Production, allowing changes to reports outside of Development. Created and modified 10 SAP Business Objects reports in BI for PSNS & IMF at the Trident Refit Facility at Bangor (TRFB), using data extracted from Logistics Data System (LDS). Continuing to fine tune the reports as needed, and still using Development for the reports. Continue to seek opportunities to deliver customers needs based on continuous improvement.
