About Karin Stander

Karin Stander completed a BA Communications Honours Degree at the former Potchefstroom University for Higher Education (North West University) in 1986 In January 1987, she joined Uppe Marketing. An expert in the field of marketing strategy, Karin has gained substantial knowledge and experience in the marketing and advertising industry through the years. Initially as account executive and later client services director, Karin has served clients in different business sectors and industries with successful advertising campaigns – many of these clients are still her clients today. This can attributed to the fact that Karin will always walk the extra mile for her clients as she puts their needs first. Applying years of experience, Karin enables marketing executives to grow their business by means of expert advice on through-the-line advertising services, using the Brand Biometrics blueprint as cornerstone. During her school and tertiary years, Karin has always excelled and often found herself in leadership roles. Karin believes the sky is the limit when you believe in yourself, therefore, she believes strongly in empowering others and helping co-workers develop in order to reach their full potential. The underdog is close to her heart and to this end, Karin heads Uppe Marketing’s Uppe Cares initiative where she is involved with the underprivileged and institutions such as MES through voluntary work and financial support.
