STEM professional with more than 15 years experience in biotechnology mainly in the start-up environment, focused on early-stage technology development projects. I'm driven through my natural ability to embrace complexity in service to the authentic relationships I build. Through effective flexibility, objectivity and consistent problem-solving, I help manage ideas and innovation by utilising my instinct for conceptualising program evolution and promoting an environment for collaborative team engagement. Highlights: • Led vaccine combination product development as Project Manager from preclinical to Phase I clinical stages, securing international pharmaceutical partner funding for next CMC and clinical phases • Developed a Biologic forming part of an oncology product that has received FDA fast-track designation • Extensive opportunities working with partners across career to develop rapport across industry, academia and government – Medical, Agriculture, Environmental and Advanced Technologies • Managed grants and contracts of more than AUD 7M – included collaborations with various government funding entities and development partners, and defined scope and budget for partnered programs of up to AUD 20M and other non-dilutive funding • Successful partnership development and established networks with multiple SMEs (Start-ups and established biotech), multinational companies, universities (Australian and International), Research Commercialisation Offices, Government funding and Investors • Implemented a standardised approach to development and operational program budgeting to inform grant and business decisions, and actively track development programs against budget and resource allocations
