About Karin Uzawa

After graduating from Occidental College, I became a representative of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET) as an Assistant Language Teacher in Fujieda City in Shizuoka Prefecture. I have finished my time on the JET Programme and became an Operations Executive at Sakura International Co. After learning to communicate with various partners across the globe as well as understanding the Japanese market, I became more interested in working in creative agencies and became a Project Manager at curioswitch. Growing up in a bilingual and bicultural environment, I have always been driven to bridge between Japanese and American cultures especially with the passion of learning Japanese culture and arts. From traditional to modern art and culture, I have been involved with introducing these arts and culture to many non-Japanese clients. I am interested in reaching out to people who are involved with the creative industry, especially those involved with design and art direction. Outside of work, you may see me taking photos and learning a new sport as an amputee. Highly interested in project management or design assistant in creative areas and etc. in all regions of Japan. Please find me at karinuzawa@gmail.com or via LinkedIn! I would love to connect! My strongest skillsets- Bilingual coordination + facilitator - Delivering excellence - Diverse innovator + creator
