Representing EWR Co at Government wide meetings and forums to discuss and input into proposed changes and introduction of new policies. • Work closely with key external stakeholders including the Department for Transport • Ensuring awareness of changes that occur both inside and outside of EWR co that have potential to impact on internal processes and policies • Regular monitoring and update of internal processes and policies • Clear communication through various channels to ensure business awareness of changes in policy and process that have the potential to impact • Ensuring that all changes are rolled out to the commercial and procurement function through regular presentations to ensure full understanding and adherence • Work closely with the commercial and procurement function and wider stakeholder community to identify and develop existing processes • Leading on procurement tenders and procurements Experience and skills • CIPS Level 4 accreditation • Knowledge of procurement regulations, PCR 2015, UCR 2015 and compliance standards • Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance • Proficient in negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships • Conducting market research and benchmarking to identify cost-effective solutions • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external suppliers • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and logistics • Knowledge of procurement software, e-procurement platforms, and CCS Frameworks • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and budgeting purposes • Upholding ethical standards and integrity in all procurement activities, including fair and transparent vendor selection processes
