International strategic sports administrator who has played a key role building the SailGP, ASB Classic, All Blacks, ATP, WTA, Australian Open and FIFA brands globally. 20 years global sports executive and administration experience - leading diverse teams for sport bodies and events internationally (FTE, contractor and volunteer based – 200+). Recognised via local and international awards for leadership, innovation and commercialisation. I have a strong reputation as a strategist, problem solver and innovator, who creates and communicates the vision, builds partnerships and stimulates high performing cultures. My earlier career with blue-chip global rights holders has enabled me to successfully construct and deliver commercial strategies that have accelerated revenue (where I have secured more than $200m in new sponsorship and media revenues), inspired brand growth and increased audience engagement. My responsibilities have included strategic direction, corporate affairs and spokesperson – navigating political agendas and the needs of high-performance organisations and athletes. I have large networks across both public and private sectors and within key government departments including relationships at CEO and Ministerial level. My governance credentials span 5 years+ Board experience. I take an active interest in the wellbeing of my teams and athletes to ensure the vision and purpose are communicated, understood and aligned - generating commitment, engagement and direction.
