About Karl Cushing

Having enjoyed a long and fruitful career in travel journalism I jumped the fence into travel PR and my current role at TTM Ltd finds me working on the PR accounts of three US DMOs - Louisiana, New Orleans and Tennessee, in addition to representing Maverick Helicopters. Firmly focused on the UK & Ireland, my current PR role follows an 18-month stint in travel trade representation at Axis Travel Marketing, where as Senior Account Manager I worked on the travel trade accounts of Ottawa Tourism, Tourism Nova Scotia and The Florida Keys & Key West. While still travelling as often as possible, my day-to-day responsibilities centre on tasks such as organising media visits, missions and events and disseminating media materials for my four US clients, in the process making full use of the broad communications skillset I've developed over the years.
