About Karl Klein

I'm the Associate Director of Nevada Outdoor School(NOS) based in northern rural Nevada. NOS is a 501(c)(3) with a mission to inspire exploration of the natural world with responsible stewardship. I have over 25 years of security, safety, corrections, law enforcement support, and operations management experience. I am well versed in various aspects of physical security, threat assessment, investigations, asset management & inventory control, and supply chain and fulfillment. I have over 20 years in a supervisor/management positions. I enjoy analyzing life safety and security problems through the lens of data analytics to find root causes and solutions. I take what I have experienced as a front line entry-level team member to management team member to form an all hazards multifaceted approach to solving real world issues. I am able to work under high-stress environments and can adapt easily to ever changing process changes. I work well with others in a team environment while being proficient at multitasking and communicating.
