Background

About Karl Mamer

I am a technical writer with a creative flare. I'm skilled at creating effective help files and manuals for basic end users and highly technical in-house staff. Ideally I'm looking for a position in a consumer software company or a software company that serves professionals who do not necessarily have high levels of computer savvy (e.g, tax accountants or medical personnel). I have a lot of crossover skills and experience in the fields of PR, media, and copy writing. A small software company looking for a single employee to handle all its writing needs - from marketing materials to user manuals to internal documentation - would find me a valuable hire. I've recently acquired teaching experience and I'm anxious to enter the field of technical training. My classroom experience and my previous documentation experience would make me an ideal candidate for a company seeking a technical writer/trainer.
