About Karl Mark Funcion

I am a web development intern at ERNI, a global IT consulting company, where I am receiving 300 hours of applied web development training using technologies such as ReactJS and NodeJS. I am also a student at Polytechnic University of the Philippines, pursuing a diploma in computer engineering technology with a focus on information technology. I have a passion for creating web applications that are user-friendly, responsive, and functional.Before joining ERNI, I was a full stack web development trainee at Village 88, Inc, a Philippine-based online platform that connects startups with tech talent. There, I acquired several skills in full stack web development, such as Semantic UI, Tailwind CSS, GitHub, Git, MySQL, jQuery, CodeIgniter, AngularJS, Socket.io, Node.js, Express.js, and more. I also developed a student capstone project that showcased the skills I learned over the four-month training period. I value lifelong learning, teamwork, and innovation, and I am eager to apply my web development skills to help ERNI and its clients achieve their goals. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked with different technologies, platforms, and projects in the web development field.
