I have been the President and CEO of FirstLight and have been responsible for providing strategic leadership for the credit union by working with the Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, business initiatives, and policies. Provides leadership, direction and guidance and ensures strategies are executed through the work of the Sr. Management Team. The CEO is responsible for the establishing and maintaining effective financial policies. Through market driven analysis determines new services and products lines that will enhance member satisfaction and meet perceived member needs. Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of operations. Responsible for creating a collaborative organizational culture and for the integrity and image of the credit union in the communities it serves and the Credit Union financial industry. Develops and maintains organizational structure and effective human capital. The CEO represents the Credit Union to regulatory agencies, trade associations, community and civic organizations, members and other financial institutions. I have directed the organization in its growth and progress. The credit union has been recognized as a community leader, an employer of choice and is recognized by its members with a Net Promoter Score of 83%.
