I'm a diligent hard working individual with a very keen eye to detail who can work on his own or part of a team. Started my engineering career as engineering apprentice at KWB Controls LTD which produced components for the oil and gas industry. My first role was working as a multi spindle cam auto setter before moving into the CNC department progamming and setting various machine tools. Started at Hawke International in 2003 as a CNC setter/operator working on a wide range of CNC machines from basic two axis lathes to multi axis twin spindle twin turret type machine tools. With the arrival of two multi spindle CNC machine tools I was promoted to CNC Engineer programming all CNC machine tools at Hawke. Responsible for CNC tooling,including design of special tooling and liaison with tooling suppliers as well as working with R&D on the implementation of new products to market Programming with the aid of Edgecam software to create cost efficient machining strategies and methodologies.
