About Karla Bell

Over the past few years, I have built a career at the intersection of strategy, operations, and human-centered design—first as a consultant and now within the aviation industry. My journey has been guided by a deep belief that the customer experience is at the heart of everything, and when we elevate it, we elevate the entire system. At United Airlines, I bring a data-driven lens to customer support, working cross-functionally to uncover insights, reduce friction, and advocate for improvements that make flying more enjoyable. I’m passionate about the role data and policy play in shaping a better travel experience. The challenge of translating complex problems into meaningful, tangible change for both our teams and our customers energizes me. Before United, I was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where I developed a love for answer-first problem solving and operational efficiency. Consulting taught me how to quickly identify root issues, collaborate in fast-paced environments, and drive toward impact - skills I now apply in service of the airline passenger. I’m excited to continue using data and strategy to make air travel the best it can be for every customer.
