After working in PR and events across the hospitality, automotive, fashion and lifestyle sectors for ten years, I made the decision to strike out on my own, opening Karla Dawes Press Office in 2016 in a tiny shopfront in Melbourne’s CBD with one staff member and three clients. From there, KDPO has grown into a respected powerhouse and industry leader with an expert team who service some of the best brands across the food and beverage, lifestyle and travel sectors. I am also very passionate about social change and am the proud co-founder of Fierce Women, an event to empower women while raising money for Cancer Council and have helped Lighthouse Foundation and YGAP. KDPO also works with Melbourne based social enterprise Free to Feed as well as donates to key charities and organisations that we are passionate about.
