About Karla Gomez

I am a self-motivated student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire involved in organizations and part-time jobs. I have been a resident assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, which allowed me to develop my conflict-resolution skills. In addition, I have been a student researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire; the research focused on the attitudes and experiences of nursing home staff. Having had the opportunity to be student researcher allowed me to network with the Health Care Administration faculty and other students. With my major being Health Care Administration, I am involved in American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) and have the executive board title of Social Coordinator. In this organization, we focus on providing information to prospective healthcare administrators and creating networks in the healthcare field.
