I support divorce professionals and couples early in the divorce process because doing it right costs less than doing it over! I firmly believe that retaining or building homeownership during and after divorce should be top of mind–but it takes early, clear, and purposeful planning to get there. Long after I went through my own divorce, I realized that remaining in homeownership had only been possible through my experience in mortgage lending and thoughtful, careful planning. When I encountered the CDLP (Certified Divorce Lending Professional) program, I realized the importance of using my knowledge in this space to make it possible for others to retain or purchase a home, during and after divorce, through well-written separation agreements that properly allocate support payments, debt obligations, and more. I founded My Divorce Mortgage Planning to operate with your best interests at heart. Every transaction. Every decision. My professional background in residential mortgage lending provides the essential knowledge and perspective needed to guide divorcing couples through one of the most difficult moments in their lives. Extensive experience, providing continued education in divorce lending to Attorneys and Realtors, and masterminding with other Certified Divorce Lending Professionals (CDLPs) nationwide puts me at the innovative leading edge of collaboration and solutions.
