Strategic HR leader and passionate educator, with 15+ years of global experience in Human Resources designing inclusive, data-driven talent solutions that power growth, equity, and engagement. I specialized in Total Rewards strategy, compensation architecture, and workforce planning—bridging executive vision with scalable HR systems. I hold a Ph.D. in Strategic Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, a Master's in Business Administration and management, an MBA, and a B.Sc. in Psychology, blending academic depth with practical execution. I've partnered with leadership across Amazon, UNC Charlotte, Vale S.A, and high-growth consultancies to deliver impactful programs in compensation, org design, performance management, and leadership development. At UNC Charlotte, I led initiatives in the Human Resources department, providing expertise in position management, classification, and equitable pay systems. At Amazon, I developed and implemented performance and rewards strategies across multi-site operations, resulting in measurable improvements in leadership retention. My earlier work includes building HR infrastructure from the ground up and guiding global organizations through cultural and structural transformation. As an educator at Johnson & Wales University, I teach Organizational Behavior, and at the University of North Carolina Charlotte - Belk College of Business, I teach Strategic Management. I’ve taught at UC Berkeley, UFMG, and UNA, and I continue to share insights through research on organizational behavior, health, DEI, and employee experience.
