Welcome to my page! I received my bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology & Political Science from Rutgers University. Through the years, I've gained extensive experience in program management & administration, event planning, social media marketing, content creation, and operations & logistics. Above all, I am a lifelong learner, I'm a fierce advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion issues.In the literal and professional sense, I LOVE wearing different hats. As a self-taught designer and lifelong learner, I gravitate towards opportunities that creatively challenge me. I am constantly looking to grow and improve, allowing me to thrive in environments where no workday is ever the same. That’s why I love admin work so much—the diversity of tasks is endless. Plus, there are at least 20 hats in my closet. During lockdown in 2020, I welcomed home a corgi pup named Mango and have unabashedly become a millennial dog mom. Above all else, the end goal of the hustle is to spoil him endlessly!Additional random points of pride:• At the height of the lockdown, I launched notkarla Design Company, an e-commerce business specializing in stationery and small gifts (designed by yours truly!). We recently hit our sale milestone - we’re fully independent from Etsy and solely rely on organic traffic. We're currently undergoing a rebrand and will be back online soon!• I EXCEL at building spreadsheets (and evidently, bad jokes). • I built my own PC (and it works!)
