Every non-profit organization has a story to tell—stories that will not only, inspire, enlighten, and impact, but will also engage the listener with the cause. As a communications and development professional, I create content and tell stories to evoke an emotional connection, to strengthen stakeholder relationships and to achieve desired outcomes. Organizations are also driven by people and strategic leadership and planning. As an executive director: I strive to lead by example and reflective of mission and cultural values and motivate and focus the team toward accomplishing goals by determining business objectives and tactics and fostering a unified vision through developing a collaborative and supportive environment, setting direction and defining roles and accountability. My key competencies include relationship building, development, strategic communications, strategic leadership and planning and non-profit administration.
