About Karlee White

Karlee began her collegiate career at Siena Heights University with both academic and athletic scholarships. As a sophomore Karlee transferred to Grand Valley State University where she began her pursuit of a degree in Comprehensive Science and Arts Special and Elementary Education with a focus in Cognitive and Emotional Impairments. In the first semester of her Senior year Karlee Teacher Assisted in Kellogsville, Michigan in a resource room setting. The second semester Karlee was placed in a Regional Emotional Impairments classroom in the Northview district with a prestigious educator as her mentor. The last year of her 5-year program Karlee began in the Forest Hills district with 25 Kindergarten students and ended in the Community Transition Campus Program in Grand Rapids with adults 18-26. In Fall of 2019 Karlee accepted a position with Eton Academy teaching students grades 3rd- 6th with various learning differences. In 2021, she accepted a position at Oxford Community Schools working in an Elementary Resource room position. Karlee is a driven, hardworking, educator that has experience in diverse educational environments.
