With over 25 years of experience in mental health, youth, and community work, Karlet has proven her adaptability and expertise in various domains. From successfully managing events for two decades to actively contributing as a co-researcher on public health research boards, and collaborating with institutions like UCL and the Race and Equality Foundation, Karlet showcases a diverse skill set and commitment to evidence-based practices. While still immersed in these areas of work, Karlet, a neurodivergent individual with unique gifts, has taken a keen interest in training related to Death, Dying, and Bereavement. Over the past 10 years, she has been dedicated to researching and developing tools to facilitate conversations about these often-taboo topics. Notably, she is actively working with a local funeral home with the ultimate goal of owning her own funeral director's company.
