About Karley Erickson

Karley is a recent BBA graduate from BCIT School of Business. Through her time at BCIT, she has gained many valuable experiences by working in teams with fellow classmates and being an executive member of business clubs such as YWiB BCIT. By showing active participation in in-class discussions and activities, Karley has grown an eagerness to learn and to succeed in marketing. Karley became an engaged and enthusiastic member of the Young Women in Business organization at BCIT. Working as the First-Year Liaison for YWiB in her first year at BCIT and VP of Marketing in her second year, she has had the opportunity to do public speaking, event planning, social media management, and attend networking events. Karley has seven years of experience working in the Service & Hospitality Industry. Throughout these years she has become familiar with team dynamics and how to handle different personalities in a fast-paced environment. She has mastered the skill of multitasking which is essential in order to meet customers' needs. Additionally, working in the Service Industry has allowed her to constantly improve her customer service skills and understand the importance of punctuality, professionalism and maintaining an organized work environment. Karley could be described as organized, helpful, attentive, and reliable. She works hard to always be a trustworthy and enthusiastic team member and friend. She strongly values her relationships with friends and co-workers and is accountable for all of her actions. She is excited to see what opportunities and experiences come her way after graduating from BCIT.
