About Karley Manzo

Karley graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Biobehavioral Health. She finished her college career achieving Dean's list six times and an overall GPA of 3.70/4.00. Going into her junior year, she interned at The Cancer Support Community of Greater Philadelphia, where she learned the importance of non-profits and implemented plans on certain projects. During her junior year, she joined Dr. Ashlee Linden-Carmichael's team as a research assistant and gained experience with data dictionaries and the recruiting process. In the summer of 2019, Karley was able to work under Dr. H. Branch Coslett in the Laboratory for Cognition and Neural Stimulation at the University of Pennsylvania. There she was able to gain hands on experience and create her own study to run on participants and collect her own data. Karley has worked with many systems and softwares including Microsoft, Audacity, and E-Prime. She is currently employed with ICON PLC where she is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing multiple clinical trials. In order to do so, Karley collaborates with internal teams to ensure study success while establishing relationships with research sites throughout the project.
